Foreman

Manage crew’s, daily activities, and sub-contractors onsite.
Manage daily schedule and 3 weeks look ahead.
Basic construction layout and as-builts knowledge.
Coordinate equipment repairs and services with shop supervisor.
Follow and promote all guidelines, policies and procedures established by the company.
Set goals and deadlines for crews and daily activities.
Communicate and work closely with the superintendent.
Coordinate deliveries.
Coordinate subcontractors.
Work directly with general contractors and meet their needs.
Maintain accurate time sheets and daily reports.
Maintain accurate time and material records and complete paperwork as required.

High school diploma or equivalent.
5 – 7 years of successful equipment operating experience is required.
Understanding of site construction practices, processes, and standards.
A strong understanding of the commercial excavating process is a must.
Understanding of grading, layout, and utility drawings. Grades, profiles, and details.
Understanding of GPS for layout and as-builts. Be able to utilize laser and transits. Understand utility and site grades.
Critical thinking skills.
The ability to work independently and as part of a team is essential to the role.
Must possess a strong work ethic.
Strong leadership and communication skills are required.
Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
